Chapter 1
It was a great day for scaring and roaring because today, the Monster University Takeover had started. " I don't think it is a great idea for us penguins to be turning into scary little creatures. I mean we are already built for making kids think we are cute, and not scary. " Tyler whined. " Don't you want to get the reward for the best scary monster? " Donn asked. " Yep, I am sure. I don't want to be in a whole different world with new abilities, and especially scaring little children. " " Suit yourself! "
" ROAR! " Donn roared at the little child. " That's the spirit monster! " Harry complimented. " Where's Tyler? " " Whining about not wanting to scare little cutie-pies. " " Well, he could be tricking you. "
" Oh please! He can even plot one single plan." " Well get out of my way. You're not on my team! " Harry yelled. Harry held onto Donn, and threw him to the back.
" Time for my next child to scare! Room 7812! I can't wait to scare this child. " Donn went into the room. " ROAR! " Donn roared. " Wow, this child is not scared. Let me see this child. " " ROAR! " a voice roared. " What was that? "
Chaper 2
" Ha ha! Another trick up my sleeve! " Tyler laughed. " Okay. You tricked me this time, but never again. " " Really? You always say that, Donn! I already got 5 scare points from just your scream. 5 more to go to get my reward! Thx for your help. " " Don't mention it. I don't even like you pipsqueak. Just know, I will always be better than you at scaring. "
" Come on OK team! Lift me up to the top so we can do the Devil Door! " Tyler ordered. " But my tentacles
are not strong enough! " Troy replied weakly. " Just get me to the top! No questions! " " But, __________-. " " I said no questions! " Tyler roared. " Ok, but don't you dare roar at me! " Troy replied in a not so friendly voice.
" Ok ROX team! We are going to scare circles around all the other teams! We got to beat those other teams! We got to make it to the top to get that reward. " " I like your spirit. But, I have a question. " Barry said to Donn. " Don't worry! Teamwork is what matters in this team! That is the power we have, and other teams don't have! "
Chapter 3
The teams had been practicing all the day for their biggest day of all! Each team wanted to get to the top of the list, and get that golden trophy. They still hadn't faced the Scare Games where they could live, or die!
* " We are going to get that trophy! Tyler yelled. " We are known to work up to the best. We are known to be better than the rest. We are not big and strong, but we could take all the teams down. " Tyler sang. " It is not a song! " Bobby yelled. " It is a cheer for our fellow cheerleaders. " "Eeek! I wouldn't want to be in that at all! " Troy replied.
* " Ok guys. We are going to start punching these dummies of our fellow monsters so we can build up our strength. " Donn yelled. " Really? We have to punch those weird people made out of wood with our fists? " Barry questioned. " They are not real people, Barry! They are dummies! " Donn replied. " Remember, teamwork is what we need. " " So if I am understanding you right, those people are dumb? " Barry questioned again. " No, they are not real people, and they are just for practice. Got it now? " " Ok, now I got it. " Barry replied. " Let's get to it! " Donn yelled. " I am not punching wood, Donn. I am scared. Last time I did it, I twisted my tentacle. " Tava said. " Do you want to be tough or real? " " I just want a break. " Tava replied.
" Well, that is enough for today everyone! Better luck tomorrow! Bye! " Donn yelled.
Chapter 4
Today was the Scare Games! Everyone was ready for this! This was a chance you could die, or you could live.
* " Monsters, you have to work your way to 1st place. You can live or die! Whichever team finishes last, gets eliminated! " the leader of the Scare Games announced. The Scare Games were just about to start!
* " Okay team, remember our power is teamwork. We have that power that no-one else has! " Donn yelled aloud. " What power? " Tyler asked. " How did I not see you? " Donn asked. " Invisibility! So long! " Tyler yelled. " Oh, I am going to get you back for what you tricked me into a few days ago! " Donn roared back. " We'll see about that, hotshot. " " Oh you better not call me that! " Donn roared again.
Chapter 5
Donn and Tyler's teams' were doing awesome. HSS team had already gone off the board, and so had PNK. OK and ROR were the only ones who remained. The top 2! They had to face the biggest challenge. The-scare-a-tron! It was a machine where whichever team made the robot child scream the loudest won. Who would win?
* " Come on team, we can do this. Let's practice our scaring skills!" Donn roared. " Dance clown! My aunt Phillis! In the morning! " Donn commanded. Would Donn's team get revenge back on Tyler with his powerful team?
* " Ok team, we have nothing to practice. We don't study, we just let it out! Okay?!? " Tyler said in a friendly voice. " Let what out? Our burps? " Voma asked. " No silly! Our roars! " Tyler roared. " So if I am understanding, we ROAR, then burp? " Voma said. " NOOO! Just watch the people ahead of you, then you'll follow what they do, like Simon Says. " " Okay. So if they make a mistake, I make a mistake too, and if they don't make a mistake, I don't make a mistake? " " NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO! This is not ROAR Science. You should have joined the Science Club, Voma. " " I get you now, okay? " Voma replied in a stern voice.
